Devils Lake Fishing Report May 23

Walleye bite keeps getting better. Been finding most of the walleyes in less than seven feet of water. Focus on the shallow protected bays. Pelican Lake, Howards Bay, Golden Pond and New Mill Bay have been productive. Have been catching walleye and pike by casting crankbaits, jigs and plastics or using slip bobbers and leeches. White bass are starting to run in Channel A.
