Devils Lake Fishing Report for May 24

Water is warming up quickly and we are seeing some good walleye bites develop. Casting wind blown weedlines, pencil reeds and rock shorelines with jigs and plastics or crankbaits has been productive. Typically keeping the boat in 7-8 feet of water and casting in. Also catching some fish on slip bobbers and leeches in 6-9 feet of water around flooded timber or rock piles. Starting to see some fish deeper already on rock points and outside weed lines where we have been using bottom bouncers with plain snells or spinners. Been seeing good bites from East to West on the lake.
