Devils Lake Fishing Report for May 12

IMG_3047.jpeg

Devils Lake is starting to warm up and the fishing is getting better for walleye. Finding some water temps in the low to mid-fifties in the back ends of bays. Been catching some fish shallow casting soft plastics or swimbaits in 3-6 feet of water. Been also catching some fish on slip bobbers with leeches. Productive areas have been Pelican Lake, Golden Pond and Howard’s Bay on the west end of the lake. Been also getting some fish in Six Mile Bay and the water behind Doc Hagens. Afternoons seem to be the best when the water warms a few degrees.
